Asia Society Texas Center - Chinese Exclusion Act Film and Panel Discussion

The Asia Society Texas Center will host a film and panel discussion event: "The Value of Immigrants: The 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act and U.S. Immigration Today," on Sunday, April 8, 2 pm at the Asia Society Texas Center, 1370 Southmore.

The co-directors of the film, Ric Burns and Li-Shin Yu, will be part of a panel moderated by Gordon Quan, immigration attorney and former Houston City Mayor Pro tem, and joined by Horacio Licon, VP of International Investment and Trade for the Greater Houston Partnership. Immediately following the panel discussion will be a reception with light refreshments, all ending at 5 pm.
