Doors open at 9:30 am; training begins promptly at 10:00 am
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: Harris County Attorney's Conference Center, 1019 Congress, basement level
Attorneys earn 1.0 hour CLE credit, .25 ethics included.
Registered participants will receive voter registrar certificates and an overview of the Texas Election Code and Texas Voter ID laws!
The Houston Bar Association, Harris County Attorney’s Office, and Harris County Tax-Assessor Collector and Voter Registrar will host a Voter Registrar continuing legal education opportunity for lawyers. Community organizations and school administrators will be invited to participate.
The Voter Registration CLE will certifiy attorneys and community leaders in voter registration in Texas and also provide a comprehensive review of federal law, the Texas Election Code applicable to voter registration, and Texas voter ID laws. Attorneys will receive one (1) hour CLE credit, including .25 ethics.
